Climate projections based on global warming levels are increasingly used to guide climate adaptation policies worldwide. Like the French Trajectoire de Référence pour l'Adaptation au Changement Climatique (TRACC), this approach links climate impacts directly to temperature thresholds, including the Paris Agreement targets. However, differing reference periods and methodologies create challenges for international consistency and a need for hamonization.
